The "Summer Prelude" exhibition from the National Museum of Modern Art's collection opened on July 25 at the Artmark Gallery www.artmark.hr. It is an exhibition with which this Romanian auction house, founded in 2008 in Bucharest, begins its gallery activity in Croatia. Director of Artmark Croatia, Iulian Plestiu, emphasized the importance of cooperation with National Museum of Modern Art because it is the first of its kind here, and added that he hopes many more will follow. The director of the National Museum of Modern Art and curator of the exhibition Branko Franceschi spoke about the exhibition display with 26 iconic works, which presented the chronological sequence of the development of Croatian modern art from the period of academicism at the end of the 19th century to the high modernism of the sixties of the 20th century. The director of the NMMU also announced guest exhibitions from the Museum's collection in museums in Šibenik, Križevci, Dubrovnik, Labin...

The exhibition "Summer Prelude" in the Artmark Gallery www.artmark.hr (Amruš House) at Strossmayer trg 5 remains open until September 17, and can be viewed from Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Entrance is free.
