On 12 May, the exhibition Transformation of Wood was opened at the National Museum of Modern Art. Following the introductory remarks by the museum director Branko Franceschi, the exhibition was presented by its author, museum consultant Tatijana Gareljić. Until 4 September, the cultural audience in Zagreb will have the opportunity to view 62 selected works by Croatian artists from the NMMA collection that reveal astonishing forms of wood as a primordial material in its endless transformations shaped over the past hundred years. The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual catalogue in Croatian and English with the text written by art historian Tatijana Gareljić.
