On Wednesday, 18 May 2022, the National Museum of Modern Art joins in the marking of the International Museum Day: The Power of Museums, with an all-day program that includes several activities, some of which will run throughout May and beyond.

11.00 – 19.00 free tour of the chronological display of the Collection and current exhibitions Fedor Džamonja: Photographs, Golgotha and Transformation of Wood
11.00 Josip Kresović’s site-specific installation, in the Vranyczany Palace entrance stairway, composed of NMMA publications published from 1970 until today. The public with be able to take the publications, and leave voluntary financial contributions in transparent containers.
12.00 Nataša Jovičić: Presentation of the project “Tactile Gallery”, a multisensory treatment of Ljubo Babić’s painting Golgotha, 1917.
Nataša Jovičić is the director of the Croatian Museum of Naïve Art and an author of the multisensory exhibition and book for the blind and visually impaired persons.
17.00 expert guidance through the chronological display of the NMMA Collection
17.00 art workshop for children “Composition”, inspired by Šime Perić’s work Composition on Yellow Background.
