Dajana Vlaisavljević, museum consultant, is the curator of the Collection of 19 th Century Painting up to 1898 and the Collection of Foreign Masters at the NMMU. She has curated several exhibitions of works from the museum’s holdings (including the 19 th Century Portraits, 19 th Century Landscapes, Foreign Masters, Nicholas Roerich – The Mystical Journey, and others) and retrospectives such as Nikola Mašić – The Noble Realist. She has a particular interest in themes that seek to holistically examine nature and humanity through artistic works. In this regard, she has curated several exhibitions centred around animalistic themes (such as All Our Animals), as well as the exhibition Exploitation of Death. Her noteworthy international projects include the exhibition Ties That Bind – Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and Slovenian Artists between the Two Wars, which was created in collaboration with the Božidar Jakac Art Museum in Kostanjevica na Krki.
