Modern Gallery and Center for Autism mark the Wold Autism Awareness Day

On the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, the Center for Autism and Modern Gallery mark their successful collaboration by an appropriate educational programme and a permanent MG exhibition on 2nd and 9th April between 10 and 11am.

Visits and programme are tailored to the needs of the visitors aiming at encouraging the perception and experience of the modern Croatian art and their interest for creative expression of persons with autism. A tour of the permanent exhibition of the Gallery is planned, followed by a creative art workshop.

Students will be participating on the World Autism Awareness Day, on 2nd April, whereas 9th April 2019 is scheduled for adult visitors.

the collaboration of the Center for Autism and Modern Gallery was launched in 2017 with the aim of raising awareness of autism and developing approaches to bring modern Croatian art to persons with autism. The project is successfully held on a regular monthly basis. The author and programme leaders are Stanka Pinjuh, a professor of fine arts and Iris Poljan, a museum pedagogue.
