Exhibition Mannerism in 20th and 21st Century Croatian Art opened at the NMMU

The exhibition “Mannerism in 20th and 21st Century Croatian Art”, conceived by art historian and art critic Iva Körbler, was officially opened at the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb on 7 December. Director of the National Museum of Modern Art Branko Franceschi welcomed the numerous guests and made introductory remarks, while the exhibition was presented by the author of the concept. Anuška Deranja Crnokić, head of the Directorate for Archives, Libraries and Museums made remarks on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia. The exhibition was opened by the envoy and special adviser for culture of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zdravko Zima.
The event was also attended by the representative of the City of Zagreb, Mirna Rudan Lisak PhD, expert adviser for museum activities at the City Office for Culture, International Relations and Civil Society.
The exhibition will remain on view at the National Museum of Modern Art until 19 February 2023.
