President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, was amongst the first to view painter Vatroslav Kuliš’s retrospective exhibition, with which the National Museum of Modern Art opened its doors to the public after almost two months of ‘isolation’ due to the coronavirus pandemic and the aftermath of the earthquake that struck Zagreb. In company with the director of the National Museum of Modern Art, Branko Franceschi, President Milanović toured the exhibition expressing keen interest in more than one hundred large and small format paintings and objects created in the period from 1974 to the present day, which are exhibited in twelve exhibition halls on the first floor of the Vranyczany Palace. The exhibits were presented to President Milanović by the painter himself – Vatroslav Kuliš – and the author of the exhibition and art critic, Milan Bešlić.
