Covering the period between the 19th century and 1935, the National Museum of Modern Art is presenting the first part of a chronological exhibition of the museum’s collection. Authored by the museum’s director Branko Franceschi, the setup of the first part of the chronological exhibition is curated by the museum’s curators Dajana Vlaisavljević, Ivana Rončević Elezović, Lada Bošnjak Velagić and Tatijana Gareljić. Each work of art is contextualised with a bilingual text panel and a QR code that transmits the text to a mobile phone screen. The exhibition setup features strong colours on the museum’s walls serving to separate the different periods. Text panels with information about the history of the museum and its seat in the Vranyczany Palace are set up in the entrance hall interconnecting the two exhibition floors of the museum.
